We still have availability in all of our Walk the Great Glen cruises in April 2013 and they are now all available at £695 per person a saving of up to £100 per person . April is a great time to walk in the glen before the midges arrive and more often than not we have great weather at this time of year. Treat yourself to a spring break!

Fingal set sail on her first Walk the Great Glen cruise of the season on Saturday in fantastic weather which the area has been enjoying for weeks now while the rest of the country seems to to buried deep in snow! We have a very busy few weeks ahead as Martin puts the final touches to Ros Crana for her first cruise in May, long may the sunshine continue………

We h ave spent the last year pulling together a website that we are extremely happy with and we think you will be too. Aside from lots of information about the cruises and the company, it has an ‘all singing all dancing’ online booking system that is very simple to use. Thanks so much to Lamont Design for helping us achieve this! Of course we are still at the end of the telephone for those of you who would rather book by telephone or for anyone that needs help using the new site! Special Offers In conjunction with the launch of the website we have discounted the remaining available cabins in 2013. July and August are reduced by 15% and September and October by 10%. Check offers for details and actual prices. One Comment Posted on 6th July 16:54pm by Robin Black Congratulations on the new barge. Good luck for the future. New web site is great. How about a nice photo gallery. Regards, Robin

We had the pleasure of presenting our first ever Trails and Glens Biking week to a few guests in August. This cruise offers a variety of moderate biking options. Each day our experienced guide will show you the best of the trails and rides around and beyond the Great Glen. We look for a mixture of trail, forest track, towpath and scenic road that we don’t have time to offer on our Bike the Great Glen cruise. Read the first part of Pete’s account of our great new biking week here http://blog.vitosport.co.uk/biking/2013/09/05/summer-in-the-scottish-highlands-part-3

Wild Swimming is an increasingly popular activity on our cruises. The barges lend themselves really well as a base for swimming in the lochs of the Great Glen, just watch out for Nessie! From family groups to seasoned open water swimmers a dip in a lovely fresh water loch appeals on a summers day, especially when you can hop straight in a powerful hot shower afterwards!

Our season is well and truly under way now, with both barges running this week! We have had all weathers so far with many sunny evenings like the one in the picture. However, only the one night where the skipper and the crew tried out their Highland dancing skills! For those of you interested in late availability please click here .
